Crack the Password is a logic-puzzle game for iPhone built on the classic numeric-lock riddle. Every clue is a wrong guess annotated with what it got right. Take notes, rule digits out, and open the lock.
The lock has a 3-digit code. Every clue below is a wrong guess, with a note saying how many of its digits are in the code and whether they sit in the right box. Read them together and only one code survives.

7, 3 and 8 are out. So 6 or 2 is in the code; 6 can't be well placed and wrongly placed at once, so it's 2, in the last box. Then 0 is in the code but not in the middle, and 4 fills what's left.

Eight packs, from a 3-digit tutorial to 5-digit expert puzzles with repeated digits, mixed clues and a single attempt. Every puzzle was verified to have exactly one solution.
Sudoku-style notes
Each box shows the digits that can still go there. Cross a digit out everywhere or circle it as confirmed. Long-press a clue for shortcuts, with full undo and redo.
Attempts become clues
A wrong code costs an attempt but joins the board with its real feedback. Solve it on the first try for three stars.
Hints when you're stuck
Each hint costs a star: prune your notes with the built-in solver, or reveal one digit.
Made for iPhone
A guided tutorial, a short animated intro, haptics and VoiceOver labels. In English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
Nothing to sign up for
No accounts and no in-app purchases. One ad banner on the puzzle screen, with consent handled in-app.

What the developer collects
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no in-app purchases. The developer runs no servers and receives no analytics, crash reports or personal data from the app. Your level progress, stars and settings are stored only on your device, and in any device backup you choose to make.
Advertising
The puzzle screen shows a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect the device's advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from the IP address, and usage and diagnostic data, as described in Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent the first time it runs, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choice at any time in the app's Settings, under Privacy.
You can also limit ad tracking system-wide in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Declining consent does not restrict the game in any way. Ads may simply be less relevant.
Children
The app is rated 4+, has no chat, no user-generated content and no way to contact other players.
